After 15 years at Romford Shopping Hall, a greetings card shop has announced it is shutting.
Arkadia Kardz founder Graham Walker said a downturn in customers, especially after Christmas, means he will be leaving his space on Tuesday (February 14).
That does not mean it will be the end of Arkadia Kardz full-stop however, with Graham planning on getting a stall in the market in October through to Christmas.
Graham told the Recorder he has no plans lined up once the shop is closed.
He added he has “loved every minute” running the business over the last 21 years, especially “messing about with the customers".
"I will really miss them all," Graham said.

Starting out with a stall in Romford Market, Graham, who was previously a black cab driver, said he moved into the shopping hall 15 years ago, where he has remained since.
