Two people have been taken to hospital following a crash involving three cars in Havering.
Emergency services were called at 8.46 am today (February 4), to reports of a collision on the A127, near to the junction with Ardleigh Road.
Police officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service(LAS) which said 'multiple patients' were assessed.
The London Fire Brigade also attended because of a fuel spillage from one of the cars.
Two people were taken to hospital with injuries that were assessed as not life-threatening, Scotland Yard added.
An LAS spokesperson said: “We sent multiple resources to the scene, including an incident response officer, an ambulance crew and a medic in a fast response.
“We assessed multiple patients at the scene before taking two patients to hospital.”
There were no arrests and enquiries are ongoing.
