A Harold Hill mother-of-four has revealed she has been left battling "floods" of leaking water in her home for two months, with the smell so bad she sometimes could not go into the kitchen.
Roseanne Howard, 31, who lives with her four kids, claimed water had leaked into her kitchen on several occasions last year, but it was never that much and had stopped completely.
However, on November 3, she said it began again. “But this time”, she added, “it was completely different”.

Heavier and more regular floods of water since that date have caused damage to her kitchen, she claims, and left a foul smell.
Roseanne said: “It floods like every day. I have got to constantly have towels down and mop up constantly.
“It’s made my tumble drier blow up. It’s only a matter of time before everything goes.”
Other damage she claims has been caused includes a wooden cupboard rotting and cracks appearing in a marble worktop.
Roseanne said she believes the water is making her and her family sick, with her youngest “not right” since the flooding started.
“There are times I can’t go into the kitchen because it stinks," she added.
Roseanne said, since the leaks began again, she has been in regular contact with Havering Council and its contractor, Mears, though had struggled to find a solution to prevent the water coming into her home.
But, on January 3, Mears was finally able to access the source and fix the leak. Roseanne confirmed that there have been no further issues since.
She said she is still awaiting a surveyor to come out, with the council telling her to expect a visit on January 13. “So still no answers really to when my kitchen will be fixed,” she said.

A spokesperson for Havering Council said: “We apologise for the delay to the repairs at Ms Howard’s home.
“This was primarily due to access issues relating to the source of the leak, meaning repairs have taken longer than anticipated.
“We are happy to confirm that the leak has now been fixed and our contractors are carrying out the final work to repair the water damage which we will keep Ms Howard updated on directly.”
