Christmas is a time when bins fill up fast and with bin collection dates altered, this can sometimes lead to confusion.

Havering Bin Collections this Christmas
Havering Council has altered its bin collection dates, advising that "during public and bank holidays our rubbish and recycling collection schedules can change".

- Wednesday 28 December - Friday 30 December
- Thursday 29 December - Saturday 31 December

Brentwood Bin Collections this Christmas
Brentwood council has also altered its bin collection dates, saying: "Brentwood Borough Council’s recycling, food waste and refuse services will continue to run over the Christmas period but collection days will change for some households."

- Monday 26 December - Tuesday 27 December
- Tuesday 27 December - Wednesday 28 December
- Wednesday 28 December - Thursday 29 December
- Thursday 29 December - Friday 30 December
- Friday 30 December - Saturday 31 December
It also added that: "All recycling, food waste and refuse collections will return to normal from Monday, January 2, 2023."
