Some schools across Havering are due to remain shut for a second day due to the snow and icy conditions.
More than 20 have announced they are remaining closed today (December 13), with others working to reduced timetables.
The Met Office’s yellow warning for London and the south east of England is due to continue through until 11am, with lying snow and icy patches expected to affect travel conditions.
