A popular Caribbean-inspired food chain has announced a November date for the opening of its new Romford restaurant.
Turtle Bay, which is known for its combination of Caribbean dishes, including jerk chicken and curry goat, plus its range of rum-based cocktails, unveiled plans to open a new spot in The Brewery earlier this year.
It has now confirmed it will be welcoming customers from November 25.
Turtle Bay Romford marketing director Libby Andrews said: “We’re so excited to be opening our doors in Romford on November 25, with our rum, reggae and jerk at the ready. Our team are in training and the finishing touches are being made – Caribbean good times are coming!”
Turtle Bay will also be hosting a free wings and beer activation, with steel drum barbecues and celebrity chef Colin Brown, on November 17, between 11.30am and 2pm outside The Brewery.
The new site will be Turtle Bay’s 46th restaurant.
It joins a number of other openings in the shopping centre, including Wagamama in September, and a new Five Guys also lined up for November.
