A hospice that cares for children from Brentwood has been given a £3,100 boost.
A charity ball, hosted at De Rougement Manor Hotel, in Brentwood, included an auction and raffle to raise money for Little Haven’s Hospice.
It was organised by Sylvia Thompson, co-owner of Krunchy Karrot in Wickford, with her husband Peter, and Lisa Miles.
Sylvia said: “We were so pleased to come and present our donation to Little Havens recently and to be shown around the hospice. It is such an inspiring and happy place and we are thrilled that we have been able to support the work they do caring for local families through our charity ball.”
