A man was stabbed after a fight broke out in the middle of a restaurant last night.
Police were called at 9.20pm to Nando’s in High Street, Hornchurch.
Two people were injured during the fight. One man believed to be in his 20s was taken to hospital suffering from a stab wound and has now been discharged.
The other person was suffering from head injuries and treated at the scene.
No arrests were made and the restaurant remained closed for the rest of the night while officers investigated.
This is the second stabbing in the space of five days in the borough, after an 18-year-old was stabbed at Rollerbowl bowling alley in the City Pavilion, Collier Row Road, Collier Row on Friday night.
