The lease of the Harrow Lodge Park cafe, Hornchurch, is up for sale for £140,000.
The newly refurbished lake side cafe opened again in September after it underwent a £125,000 revamp, increasing its seating area thanks to a £15,000 grant from the Veolia North Thames Trust (VNTT).
The cafe is open seven days a week and currently turns over about £60,000 per year.
The seating area has a view over the lake and a large terrace enables visitors to sit-out on sunny days and boats are available to rent.
The kitchen and the service counter come fully-equipped.
The cafe has already a regular customer base but could be expanded or let out.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to improve an existing business and turn it into a little gold mine,” the notice states.
The lease is for 10 years and the rent would be £3,000 per year, increasing annually to £500 to a maximum of £5,000 per year.
