West Ham legend Tony Cottee opened a new betting shop in the The Liberty shopping centre on Saturday.
The striker, who had seven caps for England, opened the new Coral shop in Laurie Walk, Romford.
He spoke to fans and celebrated with staff.
Tony Cottee said: “It was brilliant to be back at The Liberty to celebrate the launch of the new Coral store, as the people of Romford always provide a warm welcome.
“It was a great day and I wish the team at Coral the very best of luck with the new store.”
Jonathan Poole, centre manager at The Liberty, added: “We would like to congratulate Coral on the official launch, the store looks great and we are sure it will be a real success.
“We would also like to thank Tony for coming to the centre once again and delighting his local fans.”
