Reducing stress and anxiety can feel impossible at times, but a yoga teacher in Upminster says she can help residents find inner peace.
Rachel Sweeney, who teaches at The Blissful Yoga Tree, said she is passionate about introducing yoga to beginners.
She said: “I am incredibly enthusiastic about promoting the benefits of yoga because it supports people in developing positive physical, mental and emotional well-being.
“In my experience yoga fosters focus, patience and gives me the strength to stay calm in challenging situations.
“My vision as a yoga teacher is to create meaningful connections with people, and to help develop a strength of mind, body and soul with them.
“I want to bring love and compassion to the lives of the people I interact with.”
Rachel, who has been practising yoga for more than 20 years, said: “I use a gentle form of flowing Hatha yoga called Dru.
“This style of yoga helps you to develop holistically through using a range of postures, breathing techniques and deep relaxation to find inner peace and bliss.
“I uses positivity and enjoyment to guide the practice, with the focus on participation not perfection!
“I would be delighted to teach people how to achieve inner peace and compassion for yourself through nourishing your mind, body and soul.
“The class is suitable for all levels of yoga and beginners are warmly welcomed.
“Yoga mats and equipment can be provided.”
