A shop specialising in school uniforms has reopened in a new location as it seeks to expand.
Havering Schoolwear originally opened in 2004, in Belgrave Avenue, Gidea Park, and supplied clothing for four schools.
However over the past 13 years the business has grown through word of mouth and a satisfied customer base and now offers its services to more than 30 schools in the borough.
This week it opened a new shop in Hornchurch Road,
Manager Mubashir Tufail is looking forward to working with more schools now that the store has relocated.
“I’m very happy and excited about it,” he said. “In the past it was not on the main road so people were coming to us through word of mouth.
“The move is key to our growth.”
