Headteacher Kim O’Neill has said she is “absolutely thrilled” with the GCSE results obtained by pupils.
An amazing 32 pupils at Sacred Heart of Mary Girls’ School, St Mary’s Lane, Upminster, achieved level 9 GCSEs in English and maths, a total of 91pc of the cohort.
Ms O’Neill spoke to the Recorder about how proud she was.
“We are absolutely thrilled our GCSE results,” she said.
“We are immensely proud of our girls and what they have achieved particularly in view of the recent changes to GCSEs.
“Our results are testament to the hard work of our girls and the tireless commitment of our staff who go the extra mile time after time.
