From Gareth Bale to Harry Kane, see who has made the Tottenham Hotspur team of the decade
As the decade draws to a close, while Spurs have no silverware to show for it, they have produced incredible memories to last a lifetime during the past 10 years.
From Harry Redknapp to Andre Villas-Boas through to Mauricio Pochettino, with a brief cameo from Tim Sherwood, Tottenham have been involved in semi-finals, one Champions League final and two Premier League title races, but are embarking on a new era now.
Jose Mourinho will hope to bring trophy success back to N17 in the new year, but first who makes the Lilywhites team of the decade?
Goalkeeper: Hugo Lloris - A key component of Tottenham's rise from top-four hopefuls to Champions League regulars. Liable to the odd mistake, but his saves showreel since 2012 would be mightily impressive; including some crucial recent penalty stops. A £12 million bargain.
Right-back: Kyle Walker - Electric pace and his winning goal against Arsenal in 2011 instantly endeared him to the Spurs faithful. After that he never looked back and even though he departed on a sour note, one of the best full-backs to play for the club.
Centre-back: Toby Alderweireld - Calm, composed and always in control, Alderweireld has proved to be smart business for Tottenham. A player in the ilk of 'Sir' Ledley King, the Belgian was a rock during two title challenges, with a penchant for a perfect crossfield ball.
Centre-back: Jan Vertonghen - Portrayed as a sulker during his first season at the club, Jan has become a true fans' favourite for a variety of reasons. From the Superman celebration, to his ventures forward and those last-ditch tackles, he is universally loved in N17.
Left-back: Danny Rose - One of Spurs' longest-serving players and respected for his honesty, the candid defender was the best left-back in the country for a long period of time and like ex-team-mate Walker, fondly remembered for a stunner against the Gunners.
Centre midfield: Dele Alli - He plays on the edge, but is a man for the big occasion. A major success story of Pochettino's tenure and even though his form dipped due to injuries, his goal record is unquestionable. Role in the wins over Real Madrid and Ajax will live long in the memory.
Centre midfield: Mousa Dembele - Described by Pochettino as a genius and rightly so. One of the most elegant midfielders to turn out for Tottenham in recent history. Unstoppable on his day and a force of nature in the middle of the park, with those gliding runs forward and pirouettes.
Centre midfield: Christian Eriksen - Even though he is concluding his time at Spurs on a low note, he has been a brilliantly consistent performer since arriving in 2013. The chief creator for the Lilywhites during most of the decade and orchestrator of so many highs points.
Right forward: Gareth Bale - The Welsh Wizard announced himself to the world with a treble against Inter Milan and went from strength to strength. After blossoming under Redknapp, a move into a more central role under AVB saw him transformed again. Undoubtedly an all-time great.
Centre forward: Harry Kane - One of the finest goalscorers in Tottenham history and will break every record possible if he stays healthy and at the club. A hat-trick king, but very few would have predicted this rise. When given a chance, the academy graduate grasped it with both hands, but not merely a goalscorer. Leader, creator and lethal hitman rolled into one.
Left forward: Heung-min Son - A firm favourite and regularly labelled as one of the nicest men in football. Someone who always plays with a smile and shows his emotions, but has turned into a serial finisher during the last four campaigns. Class in every sense of the word.
Tottenham (4-3-3); Hugo Lloris; Kyle Walker, Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen, Danny Rose; Dele Alli, Mousa Dembele, Christian Eriksen; Gareth Bale, Harry Kane, Heung-min Son.
