Mercia House (née Metherell) Passed away peacefully on Wednesday 17th July 2024. She grew up locally in the Orsett area in a farming family, her passion for teaching dance led to her founding the Ballet School Upminster as well as teaching many students at Barking College of Technology. Devoted wife of the late Professor Harry House, dearly beloved mother of Lynette, Lawrence and Lucinda, and proud grandmother to Tobias, Alfred, Elsje and Amelie.
