SEDDON, BILL Formerly of Gidea Park, Romford, aged 83, at his home in Colehill, Dorset on 21st January. Only son of Bill Seddon Snr. ex Arsenal Football Player and Romord manager. Bill has lived in Romford since he was 3 years old. He retired as a British Telecom manager in 1990 after 40 years of service. He and his wife Valerie moved to Dorset 8 years ago to be with his son Daniel and his two young grandsons. A member of Romford Open Air Theatre and Romford Childrens Theatre, he will be particularly remembered for his role as Dogberry in the 1967 production of Shakespeares Much to do about nothing Since moving to Dorset, he has played a leading role in the fight to save the library and has been a key player in fund raising for its survival. A great personality, he will be sorely missed by his wife of 60 years, his family and friends. The funeral has been arranged for Thursday 4th February at 3:00 pm at Poole and Wimborne Woodland Burial Ground.
