A teenage girl was raped on a C2C train between Laindon and West Ham, British Transport Police (BTP) say.
The young girl had boarded the train at Laindon at 12.30am on Saturday, December 9, before being sexually assaulted and raped.
Following “a number of enquiries”, officers have identified a man they believe may have information that could help their investigation.
BTP have now released a CCTV image of the man they would like to speak to.
Anyone who recognises him or has any other information about this incident is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference number 25 of 09/12/23.
