A new report has identified the Romford postcodes where properties take the lowest and highest number of days to sell.
Professional house buying firm Property Solvers’ “speed of sale tool” claimed it took 18.56 weeks on average to sell a property across Romford between October 2022 and October 2023.
It analysed more than 525 sales between the said period.
A spokesperson said that they track the moment a property is listed on the UK’s “leading” property portals to the point it is marked as officially sold on the Land Registry.

Based on this, their research has suggested that Dagenham - RM10, Gidea Park- RM2 and Collier Row- RM5 are areas where properties sold quickest at between 107 to 115 days.
On the other hand, Romford - RM1, Dagenham- RM9 and Rainham - RM13 were the bottom three postcodes where they claimed that properties took 137 to 147 days to sell.
Ruban Selvanayagam of Property Solvers said: “The property market is certainly in a different place relative to a couple of years ago.
"The continued pressures on the mortgage sector and buyers ability to secure the right kind of finance has resulted in delays with sales completing."
