An Indian restaurant has explained why it has temporarily closed.
The Cauliflower Indian restaurant in Upminster Road, Rainham is shut due to electrical problems, its team said in a joint statement.
Residents had reported the premises closed, with one claiming it had become "derelict".
But The Cauliflower, previously named Village Spice, announced on Friday (September 15) that it would return.
"We are diligently working to reopen within the next ten days, and we will continue to serve delicious Indian cuisine," its team said.

The Cauliflower, formerly a pub, earlier announced an electrical fault on August 17.
It had updated customers with a Facebook apology and a message that it would be open from August 29.
