A spokesperson for Met Police has confirmed that his condition is assessed as not life-threatening.
The driver of the car, he said, stopped at the scene and no arrests have been made.
The AA had reported that the bridge was closed due to the crash between Connaught Road (Airport Roundabout) and Royal Albert Way (Connaught Roundabout). A detour was in place for bus routes 241, 473 and 474.
All road closures have now been lifted, the spokesperson added.
