Police have made two arrests after a man was allegedly chased by two people with knives near Romford station on Friday night (November 18).
Officers were called to the reported incident in Romford town centre at 6.39pm on Friday.
A short time later, a man, aged in his 20s, arrived at a local hospital with slash injuries.
His condition was assessed as not life-threatening.
Two boys, both aged 17, were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm on Sunday (November 20).
They remain in custody while detectives from the East Area Basic Command Unit continue to investigate.
Police are asking for any witnesses or anyone with information to call 101, providing the reference CAD6034/18NOV.
